All Greenbrier Sporting Club members are required to display valid membership identification on their vehicle windshield to access Club and Resort properties.
Beginning in May 2026, The Sporting Club will transition from the current membership decal to a membership RFID tag. These RFID tags will function as electronic transponders that automatically communicate with The Club’s gate system, allowing authorized vehicles to open gates across the property without the need for a visible decal.
RFID tags will be installed on members’ vehicle windshields by appointment through The Club’s Membership Office. At the time of installation, each member’s license plate and vehicle registration information will also recorded.
Please note that children over the age of 22, parents, and other relatives are not eligible to receive an RFID tag. However, Vehicle Visitor Passes may be requested for these individuals. For additional information, please refer to the section below.
Members may also request permanent gate proximity cards for Extended Family, which includes parents, adult children, spouses, and children of adult children. Each card is $15 and will be billed to the Member’s account. Extended Family proximity cards will display both the Member’s name and the Extended Family member’s name. Access is limited to gate entry only; no Membership privileges or access to Club amenities are included.
All RFID tag installations must be scheduled in advance with the Membership Office to ensure availability of authorized staff for proper RFID tag placement.
