The Greenbrier Sporting Club prides itself in the ability to create unique events designed according to each of our member’s needs, requests and desires.  Along with the variety of venues The Sporting Club offers, our talented culinary team will bring you the highest quality and freshest ingredients utilizing the farmers in our area as much as possible and upholding the motto “from the farm to the table” in the menu designs.  We offer you excellent food and drink, as well as service that will ensure you have an enjoyable and memorable experience with us.


Our team is very flexible in working with you and your group to design an event that everyone is excited about.

The Details

When it comes to the flowers, entertainment, audio/visual, linens, rentals, transportation - we want you to so sit back, relax, and let us take care of everything.  We are your one stop shop.


We love getting to know our members and strive to make each event a custom experience that defines your own personal style and tastes.  All menus and events are designed and priced specifically for your event, and some events may require an additional opening or offsite fee, depending on availability of the venue.

AVAILABILITY | Private Events will be scheduled and located as to adversely affect the least amount of planned club activities as possible.  Total buyouts of The Lodge or The Summit are only available during times when the venue is already scheduled to be closed.  The below capacities are broad estimates and will vary depending on your event specifics including season, design, and flow.

Meet the Event Planner

Born a West Virginia girl and raised both within the mountains of WV and overseas in Guam and the Philippines, I developed a love for both people and travel.  So, the hospitality industry was a natural fit!  I began my hospitality career at The Greenbrier as a lifeguard then after graduating from college with a degree in Management, I joined the front lines of The Greenbrier's front desk.  This is where I truly learned the meaning of teamwork and the art of multitasking, both characteristics needed to plan a great event.  After a couple of years, I went back overseas and gained experience internationally by joining the Intercontinental Hotel in Manila, Philippines.  Learning more about the other half of my heritage, I realized that I had party planning in my blood.  Filipinos celebrate all aspects of life from birth to death, so growing up Filipino made me learn from an early age the art of the party.

After gaining an international perspective, I moved back stateside and landed in Roanoke, VA where I joined the Hotel Roanoke team.  From there I decided to learn more about the food and beverage aspect of hospitality and worked through the ranks of Metro!  a fine dining restaurant and bar in Roanoke.  After earning my stripes in the F&B world, I became the Restaurant Manager of Metro! and performed in this role for 8 years. 

Planning events became my passion which is what lead me back to the place where I started...The Greenbrier.  I have always loved the history and classic nature of The Greenbrier and always knew I would always be a part of this family.  Joining the Sporting Club team has been a perfect fit and I look forward to working with our members in planning events that create lifetime memories.
